Canadian-Pakistani artist Haris Sardar (b. 1983) is a Toronto-based visual artist whose practice explores the intersection of imagination, memory, and identity. Working primarily in oil painting, Sardar creates immersive worlds where the familiar merges with the fantastical, drawing inspiration from nature, multicultural environments, and his experiences across Eastern and Western cultures.
Influenced by fashion, theatre, cinema, and dance, his compositions are layered, and dynamic in their visual language. Through a contemporary surrealist approach, Sardar engages with social and unifying themes, continually pushing conceptual and stylistic boundaries to expand the possibilities of visual storytelling.
