Maydan: A Living Agora

Maydan, a communal site of gathering, exchange, and interaction, shapes how we perceive and engage with the world. Deeply embedded in Middle Eastern, South East Asian, and global cultures, Maydan functions as both a tangible space and conceptual framework. Like the Greek Agora, it fosters collective action and cultural expression, extending beyond politics and commerce to reflect evolving social dynamics. This exhibition presents diverse artistic narratives within a multicultural context. Maydan becomes both subject and structure—a living space shaped by artists, curators, and audience alike.
